This kickdown door stopper is capable of fitting door gaps under 30mm. Please measure the distance between the bottom of your door and the floor before purchasing. It is designed for inward-swinging interior doors and is not suitable for outward-swinging doors or heavy commercial doors.
How does the foot-operated design work?
Step down on the rod head to lock the door open, and kick the release lever to free the door. The rod is spring-loaded and retracts instantly on release. The rubber base helps absorb impact against the floor. No bending over is required, making it ideal for adults, elderly users, and anyone carrying groceries, parcels, or boxes.
Does it make noise when released?
The rod is spring-loaded and retracts instantly when the release lever is kicked. The rubber base helps absorb impact against the floor. If you need a completely silent door stopper, this product may not be suitable for your needs.
Is installation difficult?
No. It is a screw-mounted door stopper. Press the rod head down until the screw holes are visible, mark the position, and fix it with the three included screws. Installation is complete in minutes.
Will it slip on my floor?
The anti-slip rubber base is capable of providing firm grip on wood, tile, and laminate floors. It prevents the door from moving once locked in place.
What should I avoid?
Do not use this product for nurseries, outdoor travel, heavy commercial doors, or outward-swinging doors. It is not a portable door wedge; it is a fixed, screw-mounted door stopper for garages, offices, and home interior doors.
