Mind you. Thermal cameras don't "see throngh".
IR cameras detect surface temperatures and display thermal images, videos.
Don't "see through". (i.e. Can't locate man behind the door/wall. Can't see mice under the cupboard, etc.).
Unless the surface temp is also affected (i.e. water leaks out of pipe and the wall is soaking to temp change on the surface).
If surface temp is changed (i.e. sees the thermal tracks on sofa where the cat just had a nap), yes.
