How should I route the drain hose?
Keep the hose free of kinks or pinches. If routing horizontally first then vertically, keep the horizontal run under 9.8 ft to maintain strong flow. A longer horizontal run increases resistance and may affect drainage.
Can it handle high‐humidity environments?
Yes. This condensate pump is IP64 rated, and the circuit board is fully potted to keep out dampness. With a rust‐resistant, durable housing, it holds up fine in damp basements, crawlspaces, or coastal areas.
How often does it need maintenance?
