Flood Buzz Water Heater Leak Detector - 1-Pack

- UNDER $20 TO PROTECT AGAINST ONE OF THE COSTLIEST HOME LEAKS: Water heater failures are among the most common causes of residential water damage. Early detection gives you time to replace the heater before water reaches flooring or adjacent walls. Flood Buzz Blue owners report catching failures early enough to avoid major repair bills - small alarm, large save.
- LOUD ENOUGH TO HEAR FROM UPSTAIRS: Up to 110 dB alarm triggers the instant water contacts the two-prong sensor. One small alarm placed in your water heater drain pan alerts the whole household the moment a leak starts, day or night.
- BATTERY STAYS LIVE UNTIL THE DATE STAMPED ON THE UNIT: The battery is factory-installed and sealed at the factory - no batteries to buy, insert, or check. Every unit arrives with a replace-by date stamped on the housing, typically 2 or more years from when you receive it. The alarm stays ready until that date.
- CONTACT SENSOR WITH NO MOVING PARTS: Two metal prongs on the base detect water the instant it bridges the circuit. No calibration, no adjustable sensitivity, nothing mechanical to fail. The sealed battery compartment protects the electronics from moisture, keeping the alarm ready for multi-year, always-on monitoring.
- NO WIRES, NO APP, NO INSTALLATION: The factory-installed 12V battery means the unit is ready the moment you open the box. Place it flat in your water heater drain pan and monitoring begins immediately. No tools, no connectivity, no programming. Set it and forget it.
- PATENTED DESIGN FROM FLOOD BUZZ, PROTECTING HOMES SINCE 2010: Flood Buzz makes four purpose-built water alarm models, each designed for a specific location: Blue for water heater drain pans, Pro for laundry rooms and basements, Pro HVAC for condensate pans, and Small for compact appliance areas. All four reusable until the replace-by date on the unit.
