SMOOTH SHIFT
Going to eleven is rad!
SRAM's 11-speed mountain bike drivetrains are popular for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is their near-inability to drop a chain. However, until the release of the X1 group, getting a SRAM 11-speed drivetrain required a bit of financial finagling. Not so any more, and this X1 Chain is a perfect example. It lacks the Hard Chrome treatment of the XX1 chain, but functions at a similar level.
The PC-X1 chain comes from a long line of dependable, lightweight chains that are built for toughness. Designed with SRAM's trusted XX1 geometry, the PC-X1 features solid pin construction, 11-speed PowerLock and smooth, efficient shifting that you can count on every time out.
SRAM SPEED CHAIN TECHNOLOGY
SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock as a tool-free, sure, and consistent way to connect our chains. While PL does not require special tools for install, the especially tight tolerances of 10- and 11-speed drivetrains mandate that each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only.
X-SYNC
SRAM X-SYNC 1x chainrings provide the highest level of performance and durability. The SRAM X-SYNC tall square teeth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as rounded chamfer edges, help manage a deflected chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, the X-SYNC chainrings have been designed with mud-clearing recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. Engineered in Germany, X-SYNC rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x drivetrain.

ABOUT SRAM
RELENTLESS
To be the best. It’s why you ride. It’s why we build components. The perfect combination of precision and brute force. No obstacles stopping us. No limitations slowing us down. Ours is a relentless pursuit: to make the climb shorter, the trail smoother, the turn tighter, the descent faster. To give you the strongest, lightest, quickest bike on earth. To be the best.
A HISTORY OF INNOVATION
SRAM was founded on a single product in 1987 and introduced the Grip Shift (or twist shift) shifter to the road bike market in 1988. In 1991 that technology was adapted for mountain bikes, and SRAM quickly grew.
SRAM FUNDAMENTALLY BELIEVES THAT:
Bicycles improve the environment.
Bicycles ease traffic congestion.
Bicycles reduce the cost of transportation.
Bicycles improve health and reduce obesity.
Cyclists are a passionate user group that support and enhance the areas in which they ride.
SRAM’s products promote sustainability – they empower people to transport themselves and their families at low cost, to stay healthy, and to reduce pollution and improve community by reducing the use of fossil fuel-powered vehicles.
SRAM is proud to deliver quality, exciting, sustainable products to its customers, but our obligation to social responsibility does not start and end with our products. We are also committed to improving our business practices to increase our positive impact on our employees, the people in our communities and those far away, and our planet itself.
Our purpose statement is “We believe in the power of bicycles and expanding the potential of cycling. We create and manufacture components that inspire cyclists.”
