SYWUWV NPT FEMALE Y STRAINER is a device used to filter impurities, particles, or suspended solids in fluids. It is commonly used in wastewater treatment, chemical, food processing, petrochemical and other industries. PRINCIPLE OF Y-STRAINER
The impurities in the fluid are blocked through the filter mesh, while the clean fluid is discharged through the filter outlet, thus achieving the purpose of purification. Y-strainers are usually installed at the inlet end of pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, globe valves or other equipments for removing impurities in the medium to protect the normal use of valves and equipments.
